The Central Committee is the official organization for Democrats in Buchanan County, Missouri.
The committee is comprised of 48 men and women who are elected every two years on the August primary ballot, or appointed by sitting members, to represent their Wards (within St. Joseph city limits) or Townships (outside St. Joseph City Limits) throughout Buchanan County.
Committee members are encouraged to serve as direct liaisons between their neighborhoods and communities and the Democratic Party.
